The Romantic and the Beauty of Birds in Nature
Inspires My Soul Every Day. D. Martin.

I was born in Jerusalem when the old city was my back yard.
I served in the Israeli Navy in the most amazing places on Earth, where the sun is red and the orange blue is the ocean color.
The Sinai desert and the ocean moved me to photography, when every picture cannot reflect the reality.
After completing my service in the Navy, I began by photographing the old city of Jerusalem and the nature that surrounds Jerusalem. It didn't take long to discover that Israel has one of the biggest Avian migration in the world and Eilat became a hotspot for me.
While on my many drives from the North of Israel to Eilat (375 mil), my friends and I discovered many new species from 1983 -1987, then me and Oz Horin published the booklet, "Desert Birds of Israel." In this book I have the two remaining Lappet Faced Vultures in Israel, only six months after publishing the book, the birds became extinct from that region.
From the 1982 to 1987 I photographed more than 20 new species To Israel and photograph more than 370 speeches of birds in Israel.
I traveled to Africa and other places in the word to complete my book, "Birds of Israel" that unfortunately was unfinished.
I left Israel with my family in 1988 and came to Florida. and open a New Business to clean Pet Urine odor from Oriental rug and Fine Drapery, I name my Company PetPeePee Service.
I sold all of my Nikon equipment and stopped photography until 2008, that's when I started creating a new art that combines: Photography, Computer Technology, and a lot of imagination and time. By combining all of these elements I have called my art, SuRReal Nature.
All of my digital paintings are printed on High quality Kodak Paper or Canvas.

One Of A Kind Frame
In the location of my warehouse, there is a business that imports marble from Brazil. The marble arrives to the U.S. in the form of a crate, which is made up of very hard wood such as Mahogany, Red Oak and other exotic woods.
After unloading the marble, the wood is thrown into the dumpster.
This beautiful wood cannot be used because of the nails, bolts and screws.
In making my frames I remove all of the metals and sand the wood down to a finished product you see today.
